Sunlight Gardens is a two-acre urban farm located on 245 Kendall Street North in Battle Creek, Michigan. The farm was started by Devon Wilson as a way to increase healthy food access.

In our mission to inspire future farmers, we work with local schools to give farming presentations to students.

We also accept youth from the neighborhood into our Farm Squad Program, which equips participants with knowledge and skills to be efficient in urban farming.

Community members enjoy many benefits, including discounts on produce and admission to our events.

We also donate produce and coordinate events with restaurants to provide hot food to families in need.

Sunlight Gardens is working for equitable food systems and supporting sustainable change.
